This
is a lovely site in the Derbyshire dales with great views and lots to
do locally. There is a direct footpath on to Middleton high peak trail
and also an easy walk across the fields to the market town of Wirksworth
that has some great pubs and restaurants. It's also close to Matlock
Bath and Carsington Water, both local tourist areas.
There
is a new barn on site that can be used for socials if required as well
as a horse box cafe, 'The Moody Mare', that serves breakfasts as well as
coffee and cakes (you can also preorder a moody box as shown in the
pics - must be ordered in advance though).
Activities on the rally - The marshals are planning an afternoon tea plus games, nibbles and punch in the evening.
