Rally Launch to be held on Saturday 21 September 2024 at 11.00 am. Saturday social with hot meal and live act - Popaganda - party band. (Free to members of the Nottinghamshire centre). The AGM of the Nottinghamshire Centre of the Caravan Club will be held at 11.00 am PROMPT on Sunday 22 September 2024. Please check your membership status as you need to be a member of Nottinghamshire Centre to be able to vote or speak at the AGM.

Free & Easy Matlock Illuminations will take place on the Saturday evening - all those wishing to visit the gardens to see the illuminated boats etc. must purchase their own tickets in advance. The marshals are unable to purchase them. Tickets are now available to purchase now from Derbyshire County Council and can be purchased via this website: https://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/leisure/matlock-bath-illuminations. Please ensure you get them as soon as possible as they do sometimes sell out on Saturdays. Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults, Seniors & disabled visitors are £6.50 (carers free) and Under 15’s are free but will need a ticket. There is a park and ride service from Cromford Meadows or you can walk to the station and take the train. Please contact the marshal for more details.

A full weekend is planned for you at this lovely venue that has easy access, a hall on site and close to Newark. There is also a community pub in the village that is in easy walking distance. On Friday evening we will kick off the weekend with a relaxed get together in the hall and maybe a quiz. On Saturday afternoon there will be a chance to show off your photographic skills by entering our friendly Photographic competition. More details will be given to those booked on but the basic rules are: any person on the rally can enter up to 3 photos per category; the categories are: 1. Under 16s 2. Animal or Bird 3. Photo taken on any Notts Rally in 2024 4. Nature at its best All those on the rally will be able to view all the entries and will then be invited to submit their votes in order to select the winners. More information on this will be sent by email to those booked on the rally. On Saturday evening we have some great entertainment lined up for you courtesy of the very talented musician and vocalist, Peter Jones who will entertain us with well-known chart hits from across the years. Blind since the age of 15 months, Peter is a legendary Keyboard, Sax and just about anything else player - not to mention his superb vocals! He has been a finalist in two major TV talent shows including The X-Factor, as part of the duo ‘Two to Go’ and now works solo. We need a minimum number of bookings on to cover the cost of the entertainment for this rally so, if you are thinking of joining us, we would really appreciate it if you could please submit your booking as soon as possible.

By submitting a booking request, you will be sent a Harlyn booking form to complete. Once the completed form has been received by the marhsal and the required deposit paid, your place on the rally will be confirmed. Rally price is as follows: One week - £298 Two weeks - £563 (The price is for a family of four - two adults and two children. Extra people will be charged at £2 per person, per night) Dogs are charged at £2.50 per dog, per night. A maximum of 2 dogs per unit and no other pets allowed. Please note: As this is a limited rally we will be taking full week bookings only - no part week bookings. We intend to run a couple of social evenings during the rally - details and cost to be confirmed. We will communicate this via the rally broadsheet which will be sent out closer to the rally date.
