For a number of years the social at the AGM rally has been free for Nottinghamshire Centre members attending. This was first introduced to incentivise members to attend the AGM and latterly the Rally Launch.
It was discussed at the Centre Committee meeting on the 28th October 2025 where it was felt that it was not achieving that aim as some members were attending the rally but not going to either the AGM or the rally launch. It was decided that from next years AGM (2026) the social would not be free to members but that after the AGM on the Sunday morning there would be a buffet provided to all those attending the AGM. This would also include those who come out on the Sunday morning just to attend the AGM.
The Saturday evening social will still provide a hot meal and live entertainment with 2026’s act being Echo Beach, an 80’s tribute duo, and will continue to be an excellent evening for minimal cost.
