Our Chairlady, Marie has been fundraising on most weekend rallies throughout the year as part of the fundraising efforts for her chosen charity, The Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough. Through generous donations and the purchase of raffle tickets over £1,000 was raised up to and at the main fundraising event, The Chairlady's Charity Rally in May a further £900 was raised taking the overall total so far to £1,900!. Your support so far has been amazing!
Further fundraising will take place over the next couple of months with the final push taking place at our 60th Anniversary Celebration Rally being held at Southwell Racecourse over the August Bank Holiday weekend. We have alot planned over the weekend including live entertainment and afternoon tea.
Some of the funds raised from the sale of cakes and other food will be donated to the Chairlady's charity. (Donations of cakes for the afternoon tea would be very much appreciated - please contact any committee member to arrange your donation).
