The Annual Dinner Dance at Red Brick House was this year supported
by 62 members. A beautiful five course meal was served which
was followed by speeches from new Chairman Phi Rookes, who
earned a standing ovation, and seemed to know his speech off
by heart - how did you do that Phil?!!!!
This was followed by a welcome to our guests, Tony Butt, ex-
Chairman of Derbyshire and his wife Karen by Centre Treasurer
Jackie Carlile who seemed to have an awful lot of information
about him! Hope you liked the signed photograph Tony!
Tony thanked everyone who had made him feel
so welcome and related occasions when he had had the "good
fortune!" to be in the company of Nottinghamshire members.
The evening cabaret this year was vocalist Craig
Deegan who soon managed to get everyone dancing and finished
the evening by managing to get Andy Carlile to accompany him
on the tambourine!!!
Again it was a brilliant weekend - roll on next
year!!!
