Retiring Chairman Richard Hitch
Richard Hitch gave a heartfelt speach at the AGM as he stepped down as Chairman and passed his best wishes to the new Chairman Phil Rookes. Thanks were given to Richard for all his hard work given and the money raised of £5,000 on behalf the Chairman's Charity from the Notts Centre. Richard also passed on his thanks to his wife Gill Hitch who has supported also during these last three years.

Report on Rally Attendance’s 2006/2007 & Awards
Since the last AGM 45 rallies have qualified for our Fellowship award, 42 of which were Notts run, some over the same weekend.
During these 45 rallies we have had 175 different Notts members attending one or more rallies, giving us a total of 1237 Notts ralliers attending rallies, an average of 27 Notts members per weekend.
On top of these we have had 168 visitors from other centres throughout the year.
This gives us a total number of vans attending Nottinghamshire Centre Rally’s from AGM to AGM of 1,405, averaging 31 vans per weekend.
Of the Nottinghamshire members, 17 have attended 15 or more rallies, qualifying for our Bronze Fellowship award, 12 have attended 20 or more rallies, qualifying for our silver award and the £6 voucher redeemable as part payment towards a future rally, and 8 have attended 25 or more rallies, qualifying them for our Gold award and the £6 voucher.

Pete & Maureen Ward were awarded with a plaque
for over 600 rallies attended

Helena Curtis visited us to receive a cheque on behalf of the
Macmillan Cancer Support Nurses and gave a talk on how the money raised by
the Nottinghamshire Centre for the Chairman's charity for £2,500 will be used.
