Another fantastic weekend - 32 vans booked on to the Notts Centre lines and it wasn't too far of a walk to the community area which was all downhill but then uphill coming back after long days!!!!
The first vans arriving at just after 7.00 - the weather stayed dry all day which was a blessing - we were not so king on the Saturday morning as I don't think anyone could have gotten any wetter!!!
As usual it was an action packed weekend and well done to everyone who took part. Savannah Purdy was our flag girl this year

U12 Football - Won 1, Lost 1 and drawn 1 - Barney,
Frazer, Peter, Thomas and Alex
13-16
Boys football progressed from the group stage and were knocked
out by a very good South Whales side - Liam, Josh, Jordan, Adam and
Tony
17-34 Football - A new age group this year - lost 2
and won 1 - Scott, Daniel, Josh, Ben, Dave and the cat Joe Robinson.
Mens Volleyball - progressed through to quarter finals for first time ever - Ian, Lee, Josh, Scott, Liam, Mick, Dave and Mark and Daniel.
Ladies Volleyball - played for the first time for a few years - lost both their matches but better look next year - Kelly, Nicole, Savannah, Jackie, Andrea, Sam and Wendy.
Due to the wet weather the netball wasn't played until Sunday afternoon so it was a straight knockout for the Under 16 and we were drawn against Cheshire in the first round - the girls were brilliant and narrowly lost - Amy, Georgina, Katie, Sian, Abbie, Sarah and Lauren.
Ladies Netball - again a team for the first time for a few years - won 2 matches and then lost out to get through to the semi finals - Andrea, Helen, Andrea, Nicole, Jess, Savannah and Kelly
Tug o War - a closely contested competition between 7 teams where we came fourth - well done - congratulations to Derbyshire on winning the title again - well done to Justin, Dave, Ian, Lee, Grant, Ben, Mark, Paul, Mick and Nigel from N&R.
Well done to Joe Robinson who won the Strongest man competition for the second year in succession.
Fun Run - Well done to Thomas Wakelin who came in 60th and also to Nikki and Ellie - not bad as they all started the fun run behind everyone else!!!
Quiz Team - Lost narrowly in their tie - Tracey, Caren, Gary and Sam
Petangue - Two teams, Mr Rhodes and Mr Brown and Lorraine and Sam - both narrowly lost in their first game.
Lawn Darts - Dave, Tina, Ellie and Christian - managed to get through to the fourth round - well done
Darts - Our new team of Lorraine and Mark lost in the final
A very hectic weekend and there were a few aching bodies on Monday morning - well done to everyone who compted.
