The Big Quiz Part 3 - 19th to 21st March 2010

It was a return to Collingham for the Big Quiz part 3 - this rally is proving very popular.

Friday night it was great to have a get together which was not quiet!!!

On Saturday night 29 teams (including five children's teams) took part in the quiz. This was five more than the previous year so space was tight!

We also had a raffle and a game of stand up bingo and well done to Caren North who won £40.00 for the adults prize and Zoe Glasson who walked away with £20.00 children's prize.

Things were very close at the end of nine rounds it was anybodys game but then the final round saw "Piston Broke" have a fabulous round and win by two points - well done to Adrian & Tracy Beasley and Gary & Caren North.

Runners up after a tie break were "Nearly a Nicker" (Tom & Dallas Mead and John & Sandra Hollingsworth) who narrowly beat "The One and Only" (Simon & Jo Roberts, Pete & Jan Glasson).

The victorious younger team were "Boyz in Da Hood" - Jordan Austin, Josh Strorer, Thomas Wakelin and Christian Pass.

Thanks to everyone who took part and made what we hope was a successful evening. Our thanks also must go to Roy and Jill Taylor who very kindly donated a trophy to be given to the winners each year.

We look forward to the quiz next year!
