This was Richard Gilchrist’s first time as a rally marshal having volunteered in the past but had to cancel for various reasons and what an excellent job he, Kate and Nigel and Trudi Jarvis did seeing 23 vans safely on site even though space was very tight.

Friday night saw us all in the marshal's awnings for tea, coffee and nibbles with one or two of us trying to sing along to some old songs playing on a CD.

Saturday morning and the marshals and their helpers provided us with an excellent full English breakfast cooked in the awnings.

On Saturday evening a number of us enjoyed a great meal in the Railway Inn, next to the site, and then back in the marshal's awnings to have a drink and a chat.

The weather wasn't too bad especially on Sunday and everybody enjoyed the weekend with a number of ralliers hoping this venue would be in next years programme.
