Friday evening we gathered in the sports pavilion with crafts for the children from 7.30 until 9. They did some lovely items, glitter and glue all over, but they had fun which is what it is all about. We then played a few games of sticky fingers after having our hot dog supper.

Saturday we moved to the Village Hall a 2 minute stroll away. The effort that went into the Goths and Ghouls fancy dress was amazing - well done guys. We must mention Lucy and Holly Wright - Lucy stayed in the coffin in the entrance until all had arrived, and waited until the entrance hall had a few people in when she casually popped up and screamed. At the same time Holly and Abby were hiding under the coffin tickling peoples ankles as they arrived - it was hilarious and set everyone off in the right spirit!! We had our meal of chilli chicken, baked potatoes and salad, washed down with some good old witches brew, followed by apple crumble and custard. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal and thanks to everyone who helped in the hall and food preparation - it was most appreciated.

We then followed with some silly games, the smarties in the icing sugar certainly caused a few laughs as did the donuts on the string competition. Apple bobbing produced a very competitive atmosphere for the children, but the adults did not get to have a go as the kids ate the apples after their go!!
